The source matters.

An element is a chemical identity. A market price describes a particular material, grade, place and period. The two belong together with that context.

Atomic information

Names and abridged standard atomic weights follow CIAAW’s 2024 table. Details include uncertainty. Square brackets identify an isotope mass number from the IUPAC 2022 table, not a standard atomic weight.

Families describe table position. The detached lanthanoid and actinoid rows do not assert a group-3 assignment.

Prices and changes

Nine elements have an attributed World Bank monthly benchmark. Each detail page states its grade, market, unit and date. “MoM” means month over month, not a daily move. Iron ore is shown separately from elemental iron.

A dash means there is no connected price. It never means zero value. Reference information is not an SFM purchase offer.
